Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it safe to use on my 1997 Thunderbird 4.6L SOHC V8? And does it work as advertised? Would i have to keep puttting it in every oil change or just one or two?

there are a lot of fuel and oil additives out there, they are all safe for your car but they really don't do much...at all, you are going to spend like $10 on something that will just make you feel better, in all actuality you would probably need like 5 gallons to do any real work on the seals and gaskets of your motor, i have tried about 20 different products out there and have seen virtually no difference in power, mpg, noise, etc. but if you want to spend the money, be my guest

add a bottle of lucas oil stabilizer at every oil change, your car holds 5 qrts oil,put in 4 plus the lucus run a minute shut down recheck oil,add if needed,i run it in my 89 SC T-BIRD all the time.
