P0700 Error When Flooring Accelerator

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This may be a long shot because so few were sold but I have a 2013 Tahoe Hybrid and I am getting a P0700 code when accelerating very rapidly.  Basically I have to floor the accelerator to create the error code.  Just accelerating at a fast rate of speed won't do it.  If I clear the code it will not come back unless i try flooring the accelerator again.  Does anyone know if this is just a normal quirk of the hybrid systems for the Tahoes or is this something I should have the dealer look at?

this is a transmission error pertaining to speed~P0700 - OBD II Trouble Code. ... When the code P0700 is set in the Powertrain Computer, it means that the Powertrain Computer or PCM is seeing greater than a specified RPM difference between the rotational speed of the Input RPM Sensor and the Transmission

P0700 normally indicates that there is another transmission related code. Maybe the scanner reading your codes couldn't pick it up
