after my 2000 maxima ilde's for about 5-10 minutes smoke starts coming out of the engine compartment there's a oil leak somewhere by the exhaust and I can't seem to locate it.....any idea.

2008 Nissan Maxima 59,000 mi. Began stalling, sputtering, not wanting to go when slowed or at a stop. Then ran hot and steam/smoke began coming out from under hood and through vents. Is this a coolant issue? Oil issue? When pulled the dipstick out smoke came out. Waiting on tow at moment. We JUST bought this card used from a friend of a friend.... Dear CarguruI changed both front brakes , both front Calipers of my 1997 nissan maxima, I also changed the brake hose for passenger side brakes as per your advise. For a few days my car ran v.smoothly but again it has started giving me same trouble as before.i.e after driving about 8-9 miles I feel my brakes being jammed and my car losses its speed and if I remove my foot from the pedal the car stops and I smell burning smell.At this time if I stop my car and put cold water on my front Brakes , wait a few minutes then start my car ....I t runs like new and v.smooth, But the problem does not go away same thing happens again the next day and again.Please advise ASAP.
