2001 Nissan Maxima no power windows an sunroof not working
I have recently purchased a 2001 Nissan Maxima. Was told
the windows did not work I have power going to the switch
on the doors no power going to the motor for sunroof
investigating I found wires cut overhead for sunroof and no
motor I have since bought motor with wiring and wired still
no action out of any windows an sunroof still doesn't have
power to switch any help been working on this for a week
now.
wires can break at driver door hinge area from open ,close too often, consider window safety lockout button will kill three of them , pull door panel and test with test light for switch working proper ,rainwater usually plays hell with the driver door switch
Ok I did a jumper at the relay an now I have power to the driver an both rear windows . These 3 will go up an down but the front passenger an sunroof still not working.
Ok guys I switched the master switch an had to do a jumper wire at the relay an now all the windows are working even the sunroof but the sunroof only works with the car off it the car is running the sunroof won't work any info on this ???
I have a 02 infiniti i35 and am having the same problem with the windows and sunroof. It all happened after I got a check engine light test done as soon as he disconnected the device my windows and sunroof would not work. Was wondering exactly how you did the jump on the relay and when you say master switch do you mean the master window switch that controls the windows and door locks? Thanks in advance
