Push on th gas rpms go up, but no power, then putters and cuts off

Question type: General

No warning lights come on. Have had several
repairs done on this piece of crap. The issue
doesn't happen when they have my car. It mainly
happens on hot days or when I drive for extended
periods of time. I hate this car, but can't get a new
one right now.

Check for codes if check engine light comes on, you might have a clogged catalytic converter
