2002 Xterra no power

Asked by Keith Nov 14, 2018 at 02:34 PM about the 2002 Nissan Xterra XE V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 Xterra just put new battery and terminals on cables. Was running fine.
Came home the other night, put it in park and it died.  No lights, nothing.  This
morning head lights were on, turned them off, turned the key and again,
nothing.  No lights, no click.  100% nothing.

Well, the batter was down, just got done charging it. All lights inside were on. I turn the key, and everything is dead. No lights, no dings, absolutely nothing at all. So it still may be the alternator, have not had it tested yet, but seems something else is up here.
