what kind of battery can I get for my 2002 nissan altima v6 that doesn't cost much as a temporary/

Asked by jjay5 Dec 02, 2014 at 05:04 PM about the 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After an accident I had to buy a new battery for my car, someone offered to buy it for me and is now trying to get it back so I need something that will at least make my car work until I can buy the actual battery type. Is there anything cheap I can use for a few days?

Since it IS the Holiday Season, everyone is having sales on just about everything, including batteries at auto parts stores, like Pep Boys and Auto Zone, etc. I definitely don't recommend getting something cheap "for a few days", just to have to buy ANOTHER battery that's better when you have more money. Makes zero sense. See who has them on sale...
