Car wont start

I have an 03 xterra had alot of work done
under the hood. Now it wont start, i can drive
all day, stop to shop then get in and it clicks
but wont turn over, i was told battery dying, i
put in brand new one and it still wont start.
Any ideas?

Needs a new starter. Here is something you can try that might help determine whether it is the starter or not this is not a 100% way to say it is the starter but most of the time it works when starter is clicking tap on starter with a hammer and have someone try starting vehicle at the same time.
