Engine won't start

Asked by Bandit559 Apr 08, 2018 at 10:42 PM about the 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I crashed the front of my car and the radiator broke and
white smoke started coming out from under the hood and I
drove it for 10 miles and when I let go of the gas it turned
off. I tryed to turn it back on but it won't start. How would I
know if I blew out the motor.

Chances are that you blew the motor, cracked a head or a head gasket. Driving the car for that long without coolant most probably overheated the engine to the extreme. Without actually seeing the car it is impossible to say for sure. Have a mechanic check the car.
