when pumping gas into my car it acts like it doesnt want to pump and keeps stopping instead of steadily pumping
gas and also every time it stops it spits gas out of my car. what causes this?

Don't put the pump nozzle so far into the inlet. When it happens to my car, I back it out a inch or two and it usually works.

It's a 6 speed manual. And if I turn the car off and back on it seems to stop for a little while then starts again .
