Car won't start again after AC recharge

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2004 Nissan Altima

I refilled my AC (very partially as it didn't need much) I refilled my wife's
before mine and everything is fine with her car. After I refilled it i shut it off for
about 5 minutes, then drove to the gas station with it with no problems.

Once I got back in, i reversed for about 2 seconds before the engine silently
just shut off. I didn't notice it until i couldn't give it any gas. I'm not sure what
could of happened, the AC isn't overcharged according to my meter when i
refilled it.

I haven't had any problems with my car since i've got it, until today, 10
minutes after I recharged the AC.

I am unable to currently get any codes it might be throwing out.

The AC system would not prevent the car from starting.

Well thanks, Thats what ive read too, but do you see this coincidence? I have not had any problems like this at all with my car, 10 minutes after I recharge the AC it won't start.I was not saying that was the cause, but the events leading up to it not starting.

Is the car out of gas? Battery dead? What is it doing or not doing? Saying that it won't start gives me no clues as to what is going on.

It turns over, and has a click/ crank like it wants to fire up, but wont fire. Gas is fine, and all the electrical works fine (headlights, radio, dash lights.even the AC) It sounds like fuel pump is working. In my original post i mentioned i drove to the gas station no problems at all, only when i started it up, and tried to reverse it died. No sputtering or idle problems i noticed. Gauges read fine, and check engine light was NOT on before it died. I have never posted on this site, as I typically read up enough my problems to fix them, however this one reaalllyy stumped me. This one might be better for the guys who get paid to physically figure it out! Thank you for your responses, F_O_R !
