When I start my truck it is sluggish to start and all the gauges go crazy for a few seconds then the truck seems to run fine?

I have a Nissan Titan SE 2005 , it has run good so far but when I start it now it is
sluggish to start and all the gauges rapidly fluctuate then the truck starts and runs
normal. Do I need A battery? Thanks for any help.

First check the battery terminal connections making sure they are clean and tight and do so general maintenance things check air filter and clean throttle body replace fuel filter add Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner to gas tank.

Sounds like a classic case of a weak battery (probably one bad cell). If you can't test it yourself, take it to a local auto parts store and have them test it.

I have a 2015 Nissan Titan Pro-4x. I just towed w/I for the 1st time last week. When I plugged in the lights, I had brake & turning lights but I had no running lights. At 1st I thought it was the trailer & I was victimized by yet another damn mouse. I checked all the wires on the trailer & all was good. I then hooked up one of my other trucks & the trailer lights worked fine. I put a meter across the plug on the Titan & the meter showed the 12 volts for brakes & turnin but nothing for running lights. I tried to figure out the fusses in the cab & under the hood.
