Car isles really low then dies

When I come to a complete stop (red light, stop
sign, etc.) will idle below 1000 then the idle will rise
up to 1000 then drop almost to turning off and
sometimes it’ll just die when it idles  too low

scan for codes even if the light ain't on , look for any loose , broken vacuum lines
