Am I missing something!?

Asked by Erika Mar 25, 2018 at 12:17 AM about the 2005 Nissan Maxima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Nissan Maxima. I have replaced the
alternator, battery, serpentine belt, pulley and
tensioner for serpentine belt, and ALL have been
tested multiple times and everything is working
correctly, per testing.  I have load tested the
battery, tested the alternator, belt is tight, as should
be. Yet, my brake and battery light still come on.
Sometimes intermittently, sometimes the full trip.
This may sound insane but, when it's colder
outside, they don't come on, OR when the idle
changes in the car they go off. I have done
EVERYTHING imaginable to figure this out, and I
am stuck! I have lost acceleration twice throughout
this fiasco, but when I turned my head lights off,
car went back to accelerating as usual. (Long
enough to get home, or autozone to test, and it test
fine) I'm baffled. Please help! This is wearing me
out!!
