Passenger Air Bag

The passenger air bag light will go out if you have a passenger. The car knows by the weight in the passenger seat. If the car is in a accident, the car then knows whether or not to deploy the airbag on that side.

The light will not switch to on if you sit on a pillow in the passenger seat. Manual does not address that fact. I saw it with my own eyes, removed pillow, light switches to on when I change from driver seat to passenger seat. Thank you!
