2006 Nissan Altima driver's side brake light problem

2006 Nissan Altima driver's side brake light will not illuminate when brake is depressed,
but properly blinks when key FOB is pressed to lock/unlock vehicle.  What could be
causing this to occur?  How can I rectify this?

assuming the blinking globe filament is the same one used for the brakes, yes you proved it working in the socket, you also showed the brake switch to work since you have one passengers side working, check in rear trunk area for break in wire from left to right side brake wire , 12 volt with peddle depressed
