i got a code po443 on my ford 97explorer xlt what is that and how do i fix it

i had a friend use his code reader on my truck before i go in for smogging and the code was po443 and he couldnt his code guide, so i need to know what it is and how to fix it

Need to replace the evap. system purge valve.
