Thats what I thought but since then when first turn over it like hiccups and floods out and won't start till next day or so. Then starts and runs good till next time. Like 3 weeks in between incidents. First time took it to shop and they replace the plugs. Don't think that was the problem because it has done it again. Any ideas?

I don't see how it could flood out unless there are leaking fuel injectors. You could do a fuel bleed down test to see if it holds fuel pressure on a fuel pressure gauge.

K, thxs, Will see if I can get that done. Think it could be faulty fuel pressure regulator?

It is possible. Once you have the fuel pressure gauge hooked up and the engine running, pull the vacuum line off the fuel regulator. Fuel pressure should increase by 5 to 8 lbs. Also if you rev the engine up, the fuel pressure should maintain its proper pressure. The vacuum line would be hooked up to the regulator revving the engine up.

Did you replace the fuel filter? Hopefully you put the new one in same as the old one out. If pressure blew off the gas line off of the fuel filter you may have a clogg in it. Did you happen to pull out the red tabs in the filter? I ask cause i did that once and it was a simple mistake
