Warning about financing through AutoPay

Excited to purchase online through Car Gurus partner AutoPay? Don't be. I
test drove a vehicle on Tuesday that was a private sale through Car Gurus.

Wednesday morning I clicked the link, "start purchase." Within a few hours a
representative from Car Gurus called and confirmed that I'd like to purchase
the vehicle. She asked if I wanted to buy it outright or finance it. I mentioned
I'd like to finance, and she said AutoPay would contact me. I was ready make
payments, sign paperwork, and register the car by the weekend.

Thursday rolled around, no calls from AutoPay so I created a profile on their
website and filled out the proper info. Friday, no calls so I called them. They
gathered some info and said a personalized loan officer would get in touch
with me soon. They mentioned that they had all gone home early for the day
but were working on Saturday so I should surely get a call by then.

No calls, no emails, no voicemails. Monday rolls around and I call. AutoPay
says my personalized loan officer will give me a call. Hours go by no call. I call
again, same response. Hours go by, apparently they don't want money.
I'm shopping for a different loan even if the interest is higher, AutoPay's was
terrible enough anyway.
