I have a 93 eclipse base model with a 1.8 liter and I'm trying to find the distributor cap gasket or packing. The one that was on there must have been original because there was nothing left of it. I can't seem to find anyone that carries that formed gasket anywhere, can someone point me in the right direction?

It makes sense to me if you buy a new dist cap.and your car is supposed to have one/it will be in the box/on the other hand I have never heard of a d c gasket/nor has the jc whitney co. Luck

Well I've bought two from two different places and neither one had the gasket included. Trust me there is one in there, but since nobody supplies them when you do buy one nobody thinks to replace it

Did you try ordering the gasket? Sometimes you have to ask for what you want.
