Steering hard, gear position

Asked by GuruZXH9R Oct 25, 2017 at 11:46 AM about the 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Turbo AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1) in the process of buying a GT 3000 1993. The
steering is quite hard is it supposed to be like that.
2) gear quite hard but no sound, difficult to position
3 and 4 gears, either it goes it 5 and 6 of 1 and 2.
I am finding it difficult to get used to.
Is that normal.

Check fluid level on steering. Mine is some stiffer than my sons sl. Change trans and dif fluid. Use pens synchro mesh. After about a week with new fluid should be shifting like butter. Mine had horrible shifting when I first got it. Did the fluid change and now works good as new.
