start systems with a converted A1 to electric

Asked by Humberto May 06, 2020 at 10:03 PM about the 2010 Audi A1 Hatchback

Question type: Car Customization

I have an Audi A1 that I converted into electric. To do so, I have to pull out
the gas engine and replace the dsg transmission with a manual
transmission. Now I'm facing the problem that the systems are not starting
with the key switch like the assisted steering or the electric vaccum pump.
How I make the computer of the car bypass the checks and start these
systems so I can us the steering and the power brakes?

1 Answer

I would probably bypass the computer for these items and wire them to direct controls.
