Check for a large vacuum leak
Ok. We've checked around and found the hose to the PVC valve was split. But it's still revving high at idle.

Take a can of carb or throttle body cleaner and spray around the throttle body and rubber vacuum hoses if engine rpms change vacuum leak is in that area.
My son's eclipse revs at 5000rpms when car is in neutral. We've changed the throttle body, tps and ia sensor. Still no change. What do we need to check next?
