Cams and timing belt need to be timed correctly maybe? Thats what was happening to my 98 eclipse non turbo and once i checked the timing everything was okay

When it cranks can you rev it up and it sound fine but goes dead when you release gas pedal? If so its probably your idle air control valve. Just had to replace the one one my wife's eclipse.

It runs great when it's running. Has plenty of power. Revs and accelerates fine. It's getting to the point now, that as soon as the engine warms up, it shuts down and won't start back up until it cools down. It's not overheating at all. Just shuts down, like you turned the key off. It'll pop start if your moving fast enough, but shuts down again shortly after.
