I didn't mean to say antifreeze I put free on in my ac unit and all of a sudden the temperature started going up causing the truck to running hot before it was fine

When you add refrigerant to air con system and its in operation, it is compressed to a high pressure and then sent to the condenser in front of the radiator to drop the heat and condense the hot gasses to a liquid to be used for cooling in the evaporator. If too much refrigerant is used it will over pressure and overheat the condenser. This will add lots of heat to the cooling system for the engine to deal with. Also check operation of the cooling fan systems. Good luck... Mark...
