I'm just wiring up a fuel pump which has a positive red wire and a negative black wire and
I need to connect it to the factory blue and gray wires but I don't know which one is
negative and positive

If you have a multimeter you can just stick a probe on each wire. If you happened to put the postive probe on a negative wire, the voltage read out with have a "-" minus sign in front of the voltage readout. Switch probes do it again to make sure you have a positive readout this time.

which side does the coil pack wires connect? meaning to which coil pack? I have a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS..... because for sum reason it will not crank but will turnover!
