I gave the car a tune up new spark plugs new wires new seals for gasket valves when I put everything back
together and started the car it starts fine but accelerates as if i'm giving it gas out of no where on its own then
idles down and shuts off.

Check all of your vacuum lines you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

on my 2000 eclipse it just stoped as i was driving down the interstate,ive cheked the timing belt,its good. the pump seemed weak, so put a new one on it. then i was told it was fuel regulator so put a new one it, and still cant get it to run, i can feed it gas out of a bottle in through the throttle body and itll run, so what could be my problem? please help. 3 Answers
