Question type: General

sounded really good when it was running, didnt have any problems with it.
it started when the power steering belt came off. i was still driving it, then a
week later while driving the car i got verry sluggish and i got a code. i knew
it was bas but my mom needed to use it, she was coming home from the
freeway and it broke down and overheated a block away from our house.
me and my cousin went to go look at it, and when we started it up it a
terrible knocking sound and it was overheatingbadd and antifreeze came
out of the hose and went everywhere,

Well you definitely have problems now, I'm sure the head is warped by now. That belt drove the water pump. That engine would need some major repair, I'd start looking for another one.

Sounds like you made a boat anchor from a perfectly good car ... The cost to repair it may exceed the cars value
