2001 Mitsubishi Galant w/133k miles and very well taken care of cut off on the freeway and I pulled over and waited 1 min and it started back up. Doesn't seem to do it on City streets.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It doesn't have a check engine light but autozone
checked it and it said o2 sensor zone 1 and 1 or
something similar. Would the O2 sensor cause it to
die?

The O2 sensors are detecting a problem. Just replacing the sensors don't always correct the problem. Usually there are other issues causing the O2 to detect a lean or rich fuel condition. Vacuum leaks is one of the main reasons. What are the 4 digit codes?
