High idle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

High idle. Have changed plug plug wires rotor cap
idle control valve and vaccum hoses don't know
what els either could be. Any suggestions

There is a Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS) that could be bad, also the wires running into it at the plugin could break inside the insulation at the plugin. There should be an engine code setting off the check engine light. Should have the codes read to verify.
