Code reading

Asked by 57karebear Jan 27, 2020 at 06:59 PM about the 2002 Mitsubishi Galant ES V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Reader is throwing a #3 Code, what does that mean.  We have replaced
the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the engine turns over but it still won't
start.

Watch the rpms while you are trying to start the car. If it is moving then it is registering crank movement. That means it works so that would not be your issue. I am currently in the same situation and was told this . It was good info for me and it turned out to be another issue even though the code was for crankshaft position sensor I replaced it for nothing.
