Will it stay running if you give it a little gas? If so I would say your idle air control valve is dirty or faulty. Clean and or replace it and also clean throttle plate.

If it won't stay running by giving it a little gas I would suspect Maf sensor, dirty air filter, vacuum leak, throttle position sensor, ect. Is your check engine light on? If so what are the codes?
