2002 Mitsubishi eclipes 2.4

Ok my daughter had a dead
battery got a jump and ever
sense the car starts runs i drive
it for about eight blocks car
dies then it wont start. Acts like
it ran out of gas the way it quiet.
I hope you could help me with
the problem.

Get battery and alternator tested if that pans out then I suggest checking fuel pressure also listen to see if your fuel pump is powering on .. Without seeing the vehicle I say it's sounds as if the alternator isn't charging properly and the battery can't supply power to the vehicle
