how do i fix my driver side window it went down and wont come back up cant even pull it up

went to roll down window to throw piece of gum out when i went to roll it back up it went
up and then all the way down right a way now can't budge it?

Tru dat... most ignition switch probs r caused by worn keys or worn tumblers

Sorry wrong answer a while ago. Make sure gum isn't stuck inside door panel...lol

Same problem. 1996 contour driver's side window went down, now won't go back up. The window motor was just replaced (new) not even six months ago. This stupid Ford is costing me an arm and a leg everytime I turn around...and (just a note) no I don't have the bucks to get a new car

I have a 2000 Ford Contour. I ran a few errands yesterday with no issues. I did not hear any changes in how the car starts or how long it takes. I went out to my car today and it does not turn over. All lights/electricity is on, it makes the sound like its trying to turn on, but will not turn. I bought a new battery hoping that was part of it. That is not the issue, left it plugged in over night and did not drain, so it does not appear to be alternator (which was recently replaced) what else could it be?
