What could be the cause of my car not starting? and could it be as easy as
getting new gas tank and new radiator?? HELP

It's a lot less EXPENSIVE to fix these things rather than buying a new car. The sales tax alone would exceed the repairs.

Replacement for the radiator and gas tank...That is.... Other stuff will cost more if you need it. Get an estimate.

If you have an automatic transmission it's probably transmission fluid in the radiator. There's a transmission fluid cooler inside the radiator that can rot out causing transmission fluid to get in the cooling system and antifreeze to get in the transmission. As for the gas tank you may be able to just have a radiator shop clean the gas tank out instead of replacing it. Hopefully the foam didn't get into the rest of the fuel system! If you have full coverage insurance you may be able to get the insurance company to pay for at least some of the gas tank/fuel system repairs. That's vandalism and is usually covered by your comprehensive coverage. HTH. -Jim
