1991 capri xr2 will not crank, no power in accessory position.

Asked by Jul 15, 2017 at 10:08 AM about the 1991 Mercury Capri 2 Dr XR2 Turbo Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I went to start it this morning, (i have been driving it only 10 miles a day or
so) and I didn't hold the key in the crank position, it kinda slipped from my
hand and only engaged for a split second. when i tried to start it again there
was nothing there, and there is no power at all when the key is turned. I
checked the main fuses and it doesn't look like any are blown, is there a
main engine relay or fuse that might have gone? Any thoughts on what else
it could be?
