my mercury villager is making a loud noise by the belts, it seems is coming from inside underneath of ignition distributor, what could it be?

noise doesn't go away, I used a hose to allocated the noise and seems coming from
inside of the motor.

Better stop driving it. Sounds like your timing belt or timing belt pulleys are about to go out. How long since timing belt has been replaced? If not sure get it replaced ASAP.
