1999 MERCURY TRACER. REPLACED COMPLETE KEY IGNITION SWITCH,
PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER BUT NOW WON'T GO OUT OF PARK

take your automobile down to your local shop and the technician should be able to diagnose the problem with the malfunctioning gear shifter, check for any loose wiring around the key unit.
