Car not turning over

I have a 1999 Mercury Sable LS with starting issues.  The vehicle will at times
start fun, and others it will not.  I was driving on my way to see family on
Thanksgiving and I made a stop on my way, when I went to start the car up
again it would not start.  It started up an hour and a half later no problem, since
then it has been choosy as to when it will start up and when it wont.

Sounds like the starter may be on it's last legs. It could be the starter or the starter relay overheating get them checked.

You don't say what the specific symptoms are: but that ignition module is getting old- as a matter of fact, the whole car is reaching the end of its engineered life span- if you want a reliable car, time for an upgrade-

Does it crank no start or no crank no start? Does the theft lamp blink when this happens?
