Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed the clutch a little under a year ago. And it’s
worked fine since then. By now it won’t shift into any gear
but 4th. Sometimes second. Not like it slips out of gear,
but it won’t go into gear. It’s like trying to put it into gear
when there’s a metal plate blocking it. I don’t know much
about vehicles. But I do know that I’ve busted my
knuckles up trying to get it to actually shift. I just need to
know what part needs to be replaced or if my truck is a
goner.

The pedal isn’t as hard to push in. It’s really easy then gets a little stiff at the end.

sounds like you may have a slow leak possibly at the slave cylinder, check fluid level see if its alittle low.
