2002 Mercury Sable

I have a 2002 Mercury Sable and when I put it in
Drive or reverse it shifts rough and it wasn't
changing gear and when I take off it goes really
slow until it catches up

I'm trying to see like 2 days ago before all that started my check engine light came on and I took it to the parts store to have it checked and it said it was the O2 sensor bank 1 and bank 2 and then later on the transaxle light came on and I am trying to see would that play A Part of the transmission jerking when you put it in drive or reverse and not changing gear.
