Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I checked the transmission fluid level with car running in park it was 3 times over the mark. The car would not would move forward or reverse. When I checked the fluid   level with the car off it was right on the full line.

The torque converter is bad. The fluid level will be high with the car running because the fluid is not moving through the system properly. Common problem with these cars.
