Cosmetically, there won't be any exterior differences except if a Marauder was Red or Blue. Red was only made in 2004 like Blue, which was only available in 2003 (Black or Silver were availible during both years). Behind the driver's seat is where you'll see any differences between model years. 2003s are tricky as some can have some equipment that are on 2004s as well as equipment found on first batch of 2003 Marauders. The first run, known as "A", Marauders have pockets in the front seats for maps and things. First run 2003's will have a digital clock in the middle of the dash. First run 2003's will have a fuel door release in the door next to the trunk release. First run 2003's will have the upper part of their windshield tinted. First run 2003's came with full size spares but sometimes former owners take and sell these before the car is resold. Lastly, first run Marauder ONLY came in black inside and out. The transitional "B" run of 2003 Marauders can (rarely) have some of those options, but most have none of those and will instead look like the 2004 model on the interior. A 2004 car will have a traction control button to the lower left of the dashboard next to the foot pedal adjust button. A 2004 will have a clock inside the radio display. A 2004 will have a manual fuel door. A 2004 will have a dot matrix on the upper part of the windshield for tint. A 2004 could have optional equipment such as a moon-roof or heated seats or even a beige leather upholstery.

A grand marques is not almost a Marauder! Different engine , trans and gear ratio and suspension! You should stop drinking before noon or buy one so you will realize the difference. I have owned a Crown Vic, Grand Marquis , Towncar and my MARAUDER is light years ahead of the rest!!!

The 03 has a 4r70w, the 04 has a 4r75w. The 4r75w is suppose to be a little stronger trans. After a lot of research that is the only difference I can find !
