2007 Mercury Sable 1st gear slippage ?

Don't think it's the trans, someone suggested maybe fuel injector. Car slips/jolts
when around 1500 rpms.  Trans fluid is full, no leaking

thank you. First, I need to correct; its a 2004 Mercury Sable, not an' 07. No engine lights on. Not a hard shift but you can def. feel it when the car goes past 1500 RPMs. Could it be a belt issue?
