The loud sound when I reverse the 2005 Mercury Sable

What is this? Transmission problem? But at 70 miles/hour the RPM is 2.5 and
no sign of slippery. Can anyone shade some light here?

May be a bad transmission mount. Should stop at a trany shop so then can answer all your questions about the transmission. They also can replace the trany mount if it is bad.
