Misfire/dead cylinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Mercury Sable with a 3.0 ohv
pushrod engine with about 180,000. We got it back
from the shop for a timing cover gasket
replacement and it ran great for about 3 days.
Today it died when we came to a stop. Then took
awhile to restart. Got about 30 miles down the
road it died again. Very rough idle even worse in
drive, big loss of power. Began checking it out to
find a cracked coil. Replaced the coil but now
cylinders 3 and 4 are dead at the coil, no spark at
all. Pulled the plugs recapped and cleaned them.
Number 3 plug was wet so there is fuel getting to
it. Didn't pull 4 just yet but assuming the same
thing. What is causing a cylinders 3 and 4 to not
fire on the coil. Also returned the new coil went to
a more trusted auto store and got another coil only
to have the same problem. Help!!!

The Ford EECV vehicle computer is having a problem with the drivers that control the grounding circuit which sends a signal to the coil to fire to cyl 3 and cyl 4 have it read for codes you should get a result close to this: P0303 or P0304~~P0351 - Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit~~ P0352 - Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit~~ P0353 - Ignition Coil C Primary/Secondary Circuit

EEC-V is the PCM, it stands for Electronic Engine Control version 5. Some people that post on here make things sound more technical than necessary which many times causes confusion.
