05 Mountineer rear end issues.

I have a 05 Mercury Mountineer AWD V6. I have had both rear bearings
replaced that are only 9 months old. In the past 4 months I have noticed the
hum in the rear end starting again. To then when I would be taking a right turn
from a stop it will skip. Now within the past week it has started to sound like
something is slamming like my transmission was slipping but it's coming from
the back. I think its my differential and wondering if worth paying to have it
looked at when I have a feeling it's that and will just put my money to
something new and junk it.

You just made me more confused lol. Could this be damage done from crappy work with the bearings? And not my differential at all? Or because my brain is fried from stressing and reading to much about this... Maybe could you explain in Laymans terms lol
