light keeps coming on at differant times and conditions but amp hand is
showing good charge what could be wrong

Sometimes gauges can be a bit deceiving, I would have the battery checked to see if it is good and holding a full charge and also check the alternator. You don't want to find yourself stranded when you least expect it.
