My starter continues to run when I turn the ignition I could turn the ignition back and it
starts and when I turn forward I barely turn it starts what seems to be the problematical

Did you just have the starter replaced ?

on the starter switch, the paper like cross, how does it fit in the assembly? it fell out when i took the switch off the starter and i can not seem to get it to go back.
