2018 CRV Hood Not Closing Properly

Asked by MerlotHonda Dec 05, 2019 at 08:04 PM about the 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why won't the hood of my 2018 CRV close properly?  The latch is fully functional, and one side closes correctly, however the other side (close to the windshield stays partially raised. This damage occurred at some point when my car was being serviced at a Honda dealership.

If the dealer damaged it make them fix it.

Probably just needs the hinge adjusted. Glad they stepped up to aligning it for you.

on the first day, there is no perfection~ would try to carefully bend to align, this would be your best bet, do not rely on someone else, you'll be disappointed~

So why ask a question if the dealer is fixing it?

I love it when people leave out all the relevant information when they ask a question. Since no one can see it we have no idea what the damage is.
